I know it’s been a long time since I posted, but real life got very busy.
I just wanted to mention that I am currently taking the Heat Wave Class over on OnlineCardClasses; I recommend it if you want to want to learn how to really use your embossing powders the best way possible.
My mother had some friends over for lunch today and I decided to create some table placeholders with my Ranger Princess Gold Embossing Powder and some Simon Says Stamps.
I also used what I’ve learned with the Brush Letter Practice Guide* from Random Olive. I always admired the brush lettering I saw on Instagram and now… I feel capable of at least try to do something and I’m not even done with the Guide yet! 🙂
I hope you like it and I promise I’ll be back soon!

After more than 2 months without posting, I’m bringing you a happy birthday card I made for one of my best friends using a Mama Elephant stamp set and coloring with my Copics.
As always, whenever I’m going to color with my Copics, I’ve stamped the Lunar Animals from ME with MFT Hybrid ink.
I colored using 3 different Copic combos for each animal and once I was done, I went and used my Wink of Stella clear on parts of each animal (dog and cat: ears, nose and tail; money: face and tail).
Then, using my stitched rectangles from SSS, I’ve cut a piece of black cardstock where I’ve embossed the Happy birthday with Versamark and using the White Super Fine Detail Embossing Power (now that’s a long name) from Ranger and attached it to some vellum.
To finish the card, I’ve added some gold, silver and copper sequins.
I hope you like it and I’ll see you soon!
My voice is still not completely back so the video is subtitled again, sorry!
I’m currently in the middle of another card that I will try and post as soon as I can, hopefully Thursday.
Also, a couple of weeks ago I bought a stamp set and its coordinating dies from The Ton and I can’t wait to use it so you might get more than 1 video this week.
Hope you liked the card and I’ll “see” you soon!
Today I’m using a stamp set from My Favorite Things that makes me smile every time I see it.
Hope you like it!!!
First of all, I’m sorry to say that my MacBook Pro decided the last 2 videos I had recorded on my camera were not good enough for it so I couldn’t transfer them, but…
I have pictures!
The first card, I did with a foiling technique. I used watercolors and produced a red background that I scanned. After that, I printed a free digital stamp from Winnie & Walter (here) with my brand new toner printer. I took some gold DecoFoil from Thermoweb and used my laminator on it.
When it comes out, you end up with a beautiful background as you can see. I died cut the word “adorable” from black cardstock I had put Stick-It on with a Metaliks die and then made a small banner. I embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder.
On the second card, I used a technique shown in the last Online Card Classes: Background Check by Debbie Hughes. I made my own diffusers for the embossing folders. It’s definitely something that I will do again. I used the Honeycomb embossing folder from Tim Holtz.
I stamped two images from the Circle Friends stamp set from Simon Says Stamp and colored the bee with Copic. Then I just glued some gold sequins using Ranger Multi Medium Matte.
Hope you liked them and I’ll be back next week!
For a minute there I thought I would not be able to post today’s post.
I hope you like it.
Today’s card is dedicated to 2 of my best friends who live in a different city and whom I miss lots and lots.
I finally got my hands on the Crazy Bird stamp set from Tim Holtz, ever since I saw it I knew I had to have it! All the birds are amazing and even though it took me a couple of months to get my hands on them, it was definitely worth it! I am sure you will be seeing more of them.
Hope you like it!
