Halloween card

Hello to everybody!

I know I haven’t posted anything for some time, I apologize. Real life got in the way.

But I’ve been very productive and I’ve done a lot of cards, not a lot of videos though. I’ll be posting them on the blog with pictures.

But for today… a Halloween card!

For the background, I’ve used a stamp from Prima that I stamped with Versamark and then embossed with Gold Princess from Ranger.

After coloring a couple of the images from the Mama Elephant stamp set Bootastic with Copic I’ve added some dimension with the bats and spider.

I’ve used the Grassy border from Lawn Fawn to create the space where I’ve embossed the sentiment with Gold Princess from Ranger too.

Hope you have a nice Halloween!

Party Like an Animal

Happy Thursday!

For today’s card I’ve used two stamp sets and its coordinating dies from wPlus9: Animal Party and Unforgettable.

IMG_5451 For the background, I have “smooched” Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Festive Berries onto my craft mat and sprayed it with water and Perfect Pearls. I dipped my watercolor paper onto my mat and moved it a little bit so that the colors spread.

I stamped an image from each set with the hybrid ink Black Licorice from My Favorite Things since I used Copic to color the images. After coloring, I used the coordinating die cuts for both animals.

Once I had every piece of the card ready, I stamped my sentiment with Versamark and then embossed it with Princess Gold embossing powder from Ranger.

In order to assemble the card, I have used some foam squares beneath the animals to pop them up and then some fun foam to adhere the pink base to the base of the card.

The base is Neena Solar White cut to 4 1/4′  x 11′ and folded at 5 1/2′.

I will be editing this post tomorrow in order to add the video since my computer doesn’t want to do it today.

Have a great day!

The two cards I will be sharing this week were made with friends on my mind.

Today’s card is dedicated to a friend of mine who helped me out last week with some work problem that could have become a nightmare, she made it easy and for that, she deserved a card!

I hope you like it and I will see you with a new card on Thursday.

Smooshing technique

I hope you had a good and sunny Monday. Barcelona is being way too warm for my taste but I don’t think there is anything better than waking up to sunny skies.

Today I’m bringing you a video with a technique I believe is called “smooshing”, I saw it on this post in Laura Bassen blog, her cards are always beautiful, but I fell in love with the technique, even thought I changed it a little bit since my water had Perfect Pearls on it and that gave the card a shiny feeling.

If you want to receive an email whenever I post something new, remember to subscribe on the right side menu.

Hope you liked it and see you on Thursday for a new video!

Felicidades – Embossing Paste

Happy Monday!

Today I’m making a card with a Spanish sentiment, in honor of my nephew who asked me to do something in Spanish.

Hope you like it! And if you do like it, remember to give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my youtube channel.

See you Thursday!

Robotic Shaker – Lawn Fawn

Today I made a shaker card with the Beep Boop Birthday stamp set and its coordinating dies from Lawn Fawn.

I have gone back to voicing the videos since a couple of people said they prefer it this way.

I hope you like it!

PS: Some of you might know but I have an instagram account set up for this blog and I would love to see you over there!
