After more than 2 months without posting, I’m bringing you a happy birthday card I made for one of my best friends using a Mama Elephant stamp set and coloring with my Copics.
As always, whenever I’m going to color with my Copics, I’ve stamped the Lunar Animals from ME with MFT Hybrid ink.
I colored using 3 different Copic combos for each animal and once I was done, I went and used my Wink of Stella clear on parts of each animal (dog and cat: ears, nose and tail; money: face and tail).
Then, using my stitched rectangles from SSS, I’ve cut a piece of black cardstock where I’ve embossed the Happy birthday with Versamark and using the White Super Fine Detail Embossing Power (now that’s a long name) from Ranger and attached it to some vellum.
To finish the card, I’ve added some gold, silver and copper sequins.
I hope you like it and I’ll see you soon!
Hello to everybody!
I know I haven’t posted anything for some time, I apologize. Real life got in the way.
But I’ve been very productive and I’ve done a lot of cards, not a lot of videos though. I’ll be posting them on the blog with pictures.
But for today… a Halloween card!
For the background, I’ve used a stamp from Prima that I stamped with Versamark and then embossed with Gold Princess from Ranger.
After coloring a couple of the images from the Mama Elephant stamp set Bootastic with Copic I’ve added some dimension with the bats and spider.
I’ve used the Grassy border from Lawn Fawn to create the space where I’ve embossed the sentiment with Gold Princess from Ranger too.
Hope you have a nice Halloween!
Today I’m using a stamp set from My Favorite Things that makes me smile every time I see it.
Hope you like it!!!
First of all, I’m sorry to say that my MacBook Pro decided the last 2 videos I had recorded on my camera were not good enough for it so I couldn’t transfer them, but…
I have pictures!
The first card, I did with a foiling technique. I used watercolors and produced a red background that I scanned. After that, I printed a free digital stamp from Winnie & Walter (here) with my brand new toner printer. I took some gold DecoFoil from Thermoweb and used my laminator on it.
When it comes out, you end up with a beautiful background as you can see. I died cut the word “adorable” from black cardstock I had put Stick-It on with a Metaliks die and then made a small banner. I embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder.
On the second card, I used a technique shown in the last Online Card Classes: Background Check by Debbie Hughes. I made my own diffusers for the embossing folders. It’s definitely something that I will do again. I used the Honeycomb embossing folder from Tim Holtz.
I stamped two images from the Circle Friends stamp set from Simon Says Stamp and colored the bee with Copic. Then I just glued some gold sequins using Ranger Multi Medium Matte.
Hope you liked them and I’ll be back next week!
For today’s card I’ve used two stamp sets and its coordinating dies from wPlus9: Animal Party and Unforgettable.
For the background, I have “smooched” Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Festive Berries onto my craft mat and sprayed it with water and Perfect Pearls. I dipped my watercolor paper onto my mat and moved it a little bit so that the colors spread.
I stamped an image from each set with the hybrid ink Black Licorice from My Favorite Things since I used Copic to color the images. After coloring, I used the coordinating die cuts for both animals.
Once I had every piece of the card ready, I stamped my sentiment with Versamark and then embossed it with Princess Gold embossing powder from Ranger.
In order to assemble the card, I have used some foam squares beneath the animals to pop them up and then some fun foam to adhere the pink base to the base of the card.
The base is Neena Solar White cut to 4 1/4′ x 11′ and folded at 5 1/2′.
I will be editing this post tomorrow in order to add the video since my computer doesn’t want to do it today.
Have a great day!
I have made a card using the Lawn Fawn Happy Trails stamp set. I have also used the coordinating dies and the Bon Voyage die set too.
I hope you like it!
PS: I’ll be posting every Thursday from now on. Thanks!
Today I bring to you a card where I did mirror stamping. There are a lot of techniques for this on youtube, the one I used I saw here, on Chari Moss channel. It was my first time trying it and I will be using it a lot more!
I’m using a stamp set from Mama Elephant that I simply fell in love as soon as I saw it.
Hope you like it!
See you Monday with another card.
